Citrus Lane Box February 2014

We just renewed our Citrus Lane (referral link) subscription and I'm very happy we did in time to receive this box!  As usual, this box incorporates some items and concepts I have been thinking about for our 3.5 year-old daughter.  Citrus Lane always seems to be reading my mind...

February Box, Gender Neutral Box,  for 3.5 Year Old

Zoo Storage Bin From Skip Hop ($15):  I like to keep things organized at our house, and I was actually just thinking about getting another storage bin for toys.  These soft bins are great for keeping things organized and the kids also like to use them as toys too. Using their imaginations, this becomes a "car seat" for stuffed animals, a "boat" for sailing across the living room, and the possibilities are endless.

Tie-Up Shoe from Plan Toys ($9.53): Our daughter is getting to the age where I'm starting to consider purchasing shoes with laces for her.  She was especially excited about tie-up shoes when we read a story about them in our LadyBug Magazine (something in a previous Citrus Lane Box).  Hopefully she can do lots of practicing and be ready for shoe laces before summertime.

Skip Through The Seasons from Barefoot Books ($7) We actually own this book in the board book version and love it.  I'm happy to get another copy because it will be going to another lucky child as a gift.  This is such a cute seek-and-find book and it really helps children understand the different seasons and activities that go along with them (it's snowman-building weather here).

Green Apple Age Defy Hand Cream from Juice Beauty ($12): I'm so happy to see a "Mom item" back in the Citrus Lane box.  My hands are always dry in the winter and green apple is one of my favorite scents, so I'm looking forward to using this.

Add-on purchase:
Bumkins Snack Bags ($6): This month I decided to do an add-on purchase and I bought these two reusable snack bags.  I thought they were a good price and it's always great to have snacks when we go on outings (especially since we have a little one with food allergies).

Add-on purchase that I bought for $6 (free shipping in my February Box).  Look at those cute snowflakes on the Citrus Lane Box too!

I'm very happy with my box this month!  The items are things we will definitely use and I felt that the value of the box really justified renewing my subscription. We just renewed for three months and I used a special 20% off coupon code at the time. This box also included coupon codes for Skip Hop (20% off), Barefoot Books (15% off), and Juice Beauty ($10 off $40 purchase).

Value of box: $43.53
Price I paid:  $19.20 (per month, for 3 month subscription with coupon code)
